WHO WE ARE:

P.F. Candle Co. is a handmade candle and home fragrance goods company based in Los Angeles, owned and operated by wife and husband team Kristen Pumphrey & Thomas Neuberger.

A LITTLE BACKGROUND:

Pommes Frites was founded by Kristen in Austin, TX in 2008. While Tom was always happy to help behind the scenes, he came on board officially in 2013. Kristen brings over 15 years of candle making experience to the table, having poured her first candle at the age of 12.

ABOUT OUR CANDLES:

We love how candles have the power to change the entire atmosphere of a room with their soft glow and fragrance.

All of our candles are made using domestically grown soy wax, cotton core wicks, fine fragrance oils, and apothecary inspired packaging. Jars are finished off with a simple label and brass lid. Each candle is hand poured, packaged, and shipped in our Los Angeles studio.

WHY 'POMMES FRITES'?:

Many have wondered about the hidden meaning behind naming our company after french fries. The answer is simple: "Pommes Frites", when pronounced correctly, sounds pretty similar to Kristen's last name, "Pumphrey". Well, and Belgian fries are awesome.
